  • Q. What is the Tokyo International BarShow?

     BarShows are the main event for the alcoholic beverage and bar industries and are held in the name of the region in which they occur. These exciting events draw attention from across the globe regardless of whether you are an industry insider or not.

     In 2012, the Tokyo International BarShow was the first to be held in Asia. It held in conjunction with Whisky Live, a global event well known in Japan. A world’s first to bring together bars, cocktails, and whisky with a hugely successful program that satisfied liquor lovers of all kinds.

     Since first being held in Tokyo Midtown in 2012, Belle Salle Shibuya Garden in 2013, and it has been held in Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall since 2014. The event has continued to grow and boasted 13,500 visitors over two days last year.

     Ongoing demonstrations by the world’s most famous bartenders making cherished domestic and foreign alcohol accessible to all in this, the Tokyo International BarShow, the grandest event of the bar industry.

     We are back and more spectacular than ever after four years, having been forced to cancel in 2020, 2021 and 2022 due to Covid-19.

  • Q. Can anyone enter the event?

    Yes, absolutely. There will be plenty of interesting things to see and do for everyone - from first-time tasters and bar and cocktail aficionados and whisky lovers to bar and restaurant workers and those involved in the Spirits & Hospitality industry visiting the Tokyo International BarShow.

    *You must be 20 years old or older to enter the venue. Individuals over 20 years of age may not be accompanied by infants or anyone who is under 20. Pets are also not allowed.

    **Please print and fill out the Consent Form found on the event website and bring it to the venue or pick one up at the entrance. All visitors will be required to sign a Consent Form for admission. BarShow Card carriers will not be required to sign a Consent Form.

  • Q. How much are tickets?

    Tickets for admission to the venue are ¥6,000 in advance and ¥7,000 day of event for one-day tickets, and ¥10,000 advance and ¥11,000 day of event for two-day tickets.

  • Q. Can tickets be purchased at the door?

    Yes, tickets will be available at the door, but pre-sale tickets are offered at a discount and will save you money if purchased in advance.
    *Please be aware that if the venue reaches capacity day-of-event ticket sales will be temporarily cancelled. We ask for your understanding in such an event.

  • Q. Can I cancel my tickets after purchase?

    No, there will be no refunds.

  • Q. What is premium tasting?

    Some rare or expensive items may be available for tasting at corporate exhibitor booths by exchange of a voucher ticket.

  • Q. Where can I purchase vouchers?

    Voucher tickets may be purchased at the Voucher Shop at the venue on day of the event.

  • Q. Is there anything else I need to know in advance of admission to the venue?

    Please either print out the Consent Form from our website and bring it with you or pick one up at admission. Your signature will be required for entry. Consent Forms are not required from those who have a BarShow Card. Please click here for BarShow Card application. In addition, you will be asked to provide ID such as a driver's license for proof of name and age at time of entry into the venue.

  • Q. What are your Covid-19 preventive measures and are there any rules in place for entry into the venue?

    Please see the venue rules for infection control on the official site prior to entry. These rules will be posted just prior to event opening.
