Paid Tastings at the Venue

 Annual Bottles at the Tokyo International BarShow 2026 will be limited to paid tastings. No bottles will be available for sale. We very much wanted to offer Annual Bottles to our guests who have been looking forward to them, so we decided to offer paid tastings.

‘Ichiro’s Malt CHICHIBU’ 2015 Virgin Oak Hogshead barrel 700ml

 Distilled in 2015, this heavily peated single cask single malt whisky has been thoroughly aged for 10 years in virgin American white oak casks. It offers a robust smokiness with notable depth from maturation, complemented by a fresh, herbal character derived from the spirit itself. A smooth mouthfeel and pleasing oak influence unfold alongside a subtle bitterness, leading to a complex, lingering finish. ‘Maker’s Mark Private Select -N.B.A. & C.C.F 2025 Roasted and Elegant-’
750ml 56%

 This is a Maker’s Mark Private Selection created for the Nippon Bartenders' Association (N.B.A.) and the Cocktail Culture Foundation (CCF). This Maker’s Mark cask-strength whisky has been re-casked and finished for approximately 6 months in barrels with ten custom inner staves, crafted from five timbers, primarily French oak (using the same method as Maker’s Mark 46).
Note: Maker’s Mark 46 uses a single type of inner stave. This entirely original expression was developed with a bespoke stave profile selected by KISHI Hisashi (President, CCF) and UENO Hidetsugu (President, N.B.A.).
Aroma: Salted caramel, dark fruits, roasted pecans
Palate: Toasted oak, brown sugar, cinnamon
Mouthfeel: Rich, robust, silky
Finish: Structured, full-bodied, long warming finish

‘The AKKESHI Single Malt Japanese Whisky’ Peated Sherry 700ml​

 An aroma evoking cherry blossom petals fluttering down onto a stream, plus sweet-savory mitarashi dango rice dumplings, the essence of spring in Japan. Built up through years of maturing, the delicious citrus flavor is a distinctively AKKESHI whisky experience. Enjoy it together with fresh raisin butter. 2023 Annual Bottle​

Single Malt Japanese Whisky From SHIZUOKA DISTILLERY 700ml 64.8%​

 Robin Tucek of Blackadder hand selected these single casks at Gaiaflow Shizuoka Distillery specifically for the Tokyo International BarShow. This is the first time for bottlers to age for five years. Only domestic malt is used. It was distilled in Still K relocated from the Karuizawa.​ Single Malt Japanese Whisky From SHIZUOKA DISTILLERY 700ml 64.8%​
